Pride Health is seeking a Pharmacist to join a healthcare team in New York, NY 10065 . This is a 18-week contract with a possible extension. Locals and travelers both are accepted!
Job Description:
· Reviewed and entered physician orders; monitored adult/pediatric drug therapy and recommended adjustments.
· Compounded and dispensed medications; ensured accurate profiles, labels, and documentation.
· Supervised pharmacy technicians and served as a drug information resource for staff and patients.
· Reviewed patient charts, labs, and test results; resolved omissions, discrepancies, and duplications.
· Applied knowledge of protocols, investigational drugs, and MSKCC guidelines for therapy regimens.
· Participated in research projects, clinical protocol reviews, and departmental initiatives.
· Delivered in-service education and contributed to publications, presentations, and professional committees.
Required:
· 6 months+ experience required.
· High School diploma
· Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from ACPE-accredited school.
· Senior level computer skills.
· Valid NYS Pharmacist License.
· Must have hospital/home care experience.

Schedule: 37.50 hours/week – Hours vary bet 7AM – 7PM
Contract Length: 18 weeks
Pay Rate: $64.00 - $68.00/Hour (Local)
Travel rate: Weekly gross: $2,751
Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
